Fire Service College

The Fire Service College is the world's leading fire training college. It includes the Fire & Rescue Service Centre for Leadership.

Centre for Leadership

The National Fire & Rescue Service Learning & Development Strategy for England introduced the concept of a Centre for Leadership (CfL) tasked with improving leadership capability and capacity to support modernisation and service delivery. The Centre for Leadership, based at the Fire Service College, has collaborated with the Chief Fire Officers' Association, LGA and wider stakeholders to develop the National Leadership Programme which provides a suite of learning and development opportunities for all levels of the Fire and Rescue Service.

Training across sectors

The Fire Service College as a whole delivers effective training to meet the needs and demands of the UK Fire and Rescue service, and other UK and international emergency response services.

As well as supporting our customers from the UK Fire and Rescue Service, we also meet the training needs of other UK public sector organisations, the private sector and the international market, through the provision of a broad range of programmed and bespoke learning and development opportunities; consultancy and advice.
